THE PLACES YOU GOTTA BE

Razzmatazz
Carrer Almogàvers, 122

08018 Barcelona, Spain

Metro: L1-Marina/ L4-Bogatell

An essential venue in Barcelona's clubbing scene. During their popular week night events (El dirty de Razzmatazz on Wednesdays are an Erasmus fave!) their main room is more than enough to satisfy dancers with pop-tastic tunes & indie classics, however when the weekend arrives the full capacity of the club is rediscovered and a cavernous superclub of delicious proportions encourages the complete party package. They have secured their reputation after years of consistently booking some of the biggest names in a range of genres, and undoubtedly will continue to do so for a long time!

Macarena

Carrer Nou de Sant Francesc, 5

08002 Barcelona, Spain

Metro: L3 -Drassanes

Hidden in the winding back streets of the Gotico barrio, this intimate club can be a welcome change from the overwhelming beach front party experience: compact clubbing with an infectious atmosphere. Pioneers in the underground music scene, Macarena host some of the best house and techno DJs almost seven days a week, & their minimal décor (consisting of several disco balls and led flashing walls) emphasise the vibe is more on great music, sometimes until the sun comes up. Check them out on Wednesdays for their  legendary 'Loud Ltd' night, guaranteed to get even the fussiest two-steppers in the mood.
